Do you have a favorite place you have visited? Where is it?
I’m American. I grew up in cities, with respect for the country. I appreciate the silence of fields covered in snow and places so quiet it feels like you can hear the heart beats of mosquitos.
Sailing through the fjords of Norway made me feel small in the way that is hard to explain. It felt like I couldn’t take a deep breath because my lungs weren’t capable of understanding the air.
I don’t know much about the people or the traditions. But I know that the only time I feel more at home in my mind than in those fjords is when I’m with my wife.
I don’t know when or in what capacity, but I’m meant to go back. I know it.
